When his promoter Sal Musumeci mentioned that a benefit for wounded warriors was being hosted by the law firm of Sullivan Galleshaw, Derric Rossy immediately responded "What can I do to help?"
 
On Thursday night, January 21st, the WBC's #10 ranked heavyweight made a guest appearance at the Wounded Warrior fund raiser and donated autographed Everlast gloves as well as a block of tickets to his upcoming fight on January 27th at the M2 Ultra Lounge in NYC.
