HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF

They say history repeats itself. What happened on Sept 17th has happened before in boxing. One notable occurrence happened in 1927,  in a bout between former heavyweight champion Jack Dempsey and future heavyweight champion Jack Sharkey. This was Dempsey's first fight after losing his title to Gene Tunney in 1926.

The bout ended in the seventh round when Sharkey turned away to complain to the referee about a low blow See  highlights here, http://youtu.be/W0RLqeVfxo8?t=3m49s

after, Mayweather grabs the microphone from a startled Larry Merchant when questioned about the ending --  .

I guess Merchant is the only guy who gets under Mayweather's skin.
